LITTLE SCALLOPED DRESS

Everyone who owns a LBD (little black dress) knows how hard it can be to find the perfect one. Most LBD’s are sleeveless, form fitting and just plain boring. Well, I have some good new for all  of you LBD searchers out there. I have been seeing a major revamp of the little black dress as of late. They have been getting some fun upgrades and are no longer just your average short black dress that sits in your closet until that special date night a few times a year comes around. I now see dresses with tassels, fringe, pom-poms, and my favorite of them all… scallops. I have been wanting a scalloped dress f.o.r.e.v.e.r and now I finally have added one to my wardrobe, thanks to Romwe. The best part of it all? Its under $11. I’m not kidding, $11! You can find this exact dress here. For this outfit, I decided to add some laced up gladiator sandals, a cobalt clutch, some brown cat eyed glasses and a top knot bun for a casual date night look. To take this outfit from night to day, try adding a chambray shirt tied at the waist, paired with a bright lip or even some colorful sandals.

For this post, I have partnered with a company called Romwe. I have heard a lot about this company, so I really wanted to try them out for myself and see what they were all about. When it comes to buying clothing online, it can be a little bit of an adrenaline rush. The questions always running through my mind are: Is the quality up to par? Will it fit me? How long will it take to ship? All of these questions I feel are fair questions to have. Now that I’ve ordered clothing from them, I feel I can answer them fairly based on my experience.  First off, their clothes are super cute. I could literally spend hours browsing through their site. They have all types of styles to choose from and are always right on trend with their pieces. They literally have everything you could possibly imagine (I almost went for the “pizza is my bae” tee). But really, they have adorable dresses, tees, denim. You name it, they’ve got it. The clothing that I received was great quality as well. I would compare the it to Target, Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe brand clothing. As far as the shipping time went, it arrived within five days. I wasn’t sure if it was coming from overseas, or if they had a US department, but the shipping label stated that it came from New Jersey, so I was very happy about the turn around time. Now, the biggest question of them all: the sizing. I would caution you to pay extra close attention to the sizing guides on this website. Each product has their own personal measurements listed, which actually helped me feel more confident while deciding on which size to select. I really liked being aware of the exact measurements of the garmet, especially when it came to the length of the dress. For this particular item, according to the sizing guide and my measurements, I was an XL. Usually, I am a small or medium in dresses, so definitely make sure you are measuring yourself to decide on which size to purchase. Another tip of advice is to look through the gallery of other customers who have purchased the same or similar items. It is fun to see how different people style each piece, as well as get a general feel for the quality and overall fit. All in all, my experience with this company was great and I will definitely be ordering from Romwe again. I was so happy with the quality, price, shipping time as well as the large selection to choose from ( I already have my eye on a few other dresses and graphic tees)! Have any of you ordered from this company before? What did you think? I’d love to hear your feedback! Romwe Casual-Dress
