Good as Gold, Darling.

One of my favorite things about these colder months is being able to add more visual interest to my outfits with layering, as well as mixing and matching different textures and styles. While we actually layer all year long, maybe not with articles of clothing per say, but instead with jewelry and accessories such a necklaces or bracelets. While I love layering jewelry, my all time favorite time of the year to layer is definitely winter and fall, strictly because I love cardigans, sweaters, jackets and scarves. The options and styles are endless as far as mixing and matching goes.  Start by finding different textures such I did here with this marled knit sweater and cream peplum top and then move on to the accessories. You could even add a scarf to this look if you wanted to take it a step further (or more bracelets for you arm candy lovers out there).  For this particular outfit, I paired this oatmeal peplum top with this marled knit sweater. I love this sweater because while I wear neutrals a lot, this passes my test as a neutral, yet also adds a colorful touch in its own way. It can be paired with many different tops and is super warm and comfortable. I finished the look off with distressed denim jeans, gold flats, a black cross body and of course, layered arm jewelry. What are your favorite articles of clothing or accessories to mix and match? I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

yours,

rr
