Happy December everyone! As you know, I love layering and absolutely loved how well this sweater paired with this jersey dress. As much as I like my “pops of color”, this all neutral color palette actually works together quite well. I also love wearing dresses, but often pair them with leggings in this chilly December weather. I found that this type of layering (sans the leggings) actually kept me warm throughout the day while still staying fashionable and weather appropriate. Remember, dresses are for winter too, you just have to find the right way to style them! Some of my favorite things about this particular dress is that it is long sleeved, super soft in a jersey knit and also keeps my neck warm with the turtle neck neckline. This festive crew neck sweater that I paired it with goes well with so many different clothing pieces, making it super easy to throw on. One day I paired it with with an oversized jacket, black leggings and some new balances and then the next day, I wore it with a pair of distressed jeans and lace up flats. For this particular outfit, I layered the patterned sweater over a turtleneck dress, paired it with some salt and pepper boot socks and topped it off with a classic pair of black hunter boots. What are some of your favorite ways to style a dress in the winter months?
